Job summary

Lexington County School District One Special Services in Lexington, South Carolina is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with Assistive Technology expertise to provide AT assessment, consultation, and services for students. The role collaborates with school teams to tailor accommodations and devices that enable participation in instruction and the general curriculum.

The position requires a Master's in speech-language pathology, SC LLR licensure, and a SC teaching license, with

Qualifications

Master's degree in speech/language pathology or approved program as required by State Board of Education
Valid SLP licensure through SC LLR
Valid South Carolina Teaching License (any applicable area)
Must have current government issued identification

Responsibilities

Provides Assistive Technology (AT) assessment, consultation and services to students as needed.
Collaborates with educational teams to determine accommodations, modifications and AT devices/services.
Provides training to school personnel and families on AT tools and strategies.
Maintains AT equipment and lending library and participates in procurement decisions.
Schedules AT services and travel to schools or coordinates virtual training as scheduled.
