Qualifications

• Six months of experience working with individuals with speech and language disabilities in a structured environment is desired.
• Possession of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License through the California Board is required.
• CPR and first aid certification may be acquired during probation.
• Valid California Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech therapy assessment services and therapy to identified students.
• Assist in assessment of student speech and language skills and document progress toward IEP goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide clerical support related to documentation.

Education

Six months of experience working with individuals with speech and language disabilities in a structured environment
