Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) to ensure students in the assigned school receive appropriate speech therapy services. The role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to support communication goals.

The SLP-A will conduct evaluations, create and implement treatment plans, and document progress per IEP/504 plans, contributing to each child’s educational success and overall development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• State SLP-A License.
• Experience working with K-12 kids.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans.
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, analyze results, and write reports to identify strengths and areas of concern in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
• Assist in developing treatment plans (IEPs/504 plans) to support students’ educational progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support students’ communication goals.
