Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support a middle school student near Greenville, SC. The role provides 1:1 interpretation throughout general education classes and close collaboration with a DHH Teacher to ensure equal access to learning opportunities.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a contract running through the end of May 2027. Candidates should have an EIPA score of 3.5+ and be prepared to complete a background check and onboarding ethics

Qualifications

• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required.
• Successful completion of the written EIPA test.
• High school diploma or above.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Commitment to the SLI Code of Ethics to be signed on onboarding.
• Prior experience in a school environment or with 1:1 assignments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ASL interpretation for general education classes.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student access.
• Contribute to inclusion initiatives within the classroom setting.
• Maintain professional conduct and communicate with the DHH Teacher.
