FullShift Staffing is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide school nursing care for children this school year. School Nurses are responsible for providing medical assistance to school-age students, and they complete multiple tasks each day ranging from assessing minor injuries to requesting emergency services.

Qualifications

• CA RN license is required.
• Current CPR/BLS Card is required.
• Current Negative TB Result is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducting student hearing and vision screenings.
• Educating students on hygiene and safety practices.
• Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions.
• Verifying vaccination records for students.
• Taking students' temperatures when fever is suspected.
• Administering first aid and CPR to students.
• Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises.
• Contacting parents when students are ill or injured.
