Job summary

Soliant is seeking experienced School Nurses (RN/LPN/LVN) for a contract position near Washington, DC. Provide essential healthcare services in a supportive school setting and respond to daily health needs.

You will collaborate with educators to develop health plans, administer medications per school protocols, monitor student health, and promote a safe learning environment. A valid state license, CPR/First Aid, and prior school nursing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN, LPN, or LVN license in the state.
• Experience in school nursing or student health services preferred.
• Ability to respond to injuries and health concerns per protocols.
• Strong communication with students, staff and parents.
• Maintain health records and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address health needs of students daily, managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications per school protocols.
• Collaborate with educators to develop health care plans for learning access.
• Serve as a health education resource within the school community.
• Monitor health status and refer to outside providers when needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings providing health insights.
