In this role, you will work with students attending school in Aston, PA. You will support students with their emotional and behavioral needs throughout the school day, including in the classroom, during specials, recess, and lunch. You will work directly under the supervision of a BCBA, who will develop best practice strategies for working with the students.
We will provide training for the RBT credential (if not currently certified) and are interested in this career path!

School-Based Hours 8:00-3:30
Competitive Pay: $21 - $25 per hour (based on experience/education)

In this role, you will:
Work one-on-one with students, implementing behavior support strategies and supporting instruction
Assist in conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
Communicate with the team about student progress
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides support to schools in early learning, academic interventions, safety practices, and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges, and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology, or related fields. RBT certification is strongly preferred. Candidates in the process of completing RBT certification will also be considered.
Experience: Must have at least one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents on the autism spectrum or with behavioral challenges. Previous RBT experience is preferred, but training and supervision will be provided. Reliable transportation is required.
