Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavior intervention for students with ASD and other developmental needs. Under supervision, implement behavior support plans and help students achieve educational goals.

The role emphasizes data collection, progress monitoring, and collaboration with clinicians and educators to ensure consistent, effective support across school settings.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have passed the RBT competency assessment and hold RBT certification or be in process.
• Experience working with children/adolescents with ASD in school or clinical settings is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior support to students in a school setting.
• Deliver direct instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Collect data and monitor student progress.
• Support skill acquisition and implement behavior/positive support plans.
• Collaborate with all team members and document activities.
