Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current RBT certification or working toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized behavioral support to students in general education, special education, and other school settings.
• Assist to implement behavior intervention plans and instructional strategies developed by qualified professionals.
• Support students in developing communication, social, emotional, academic, and adaptive skills.
• Assist students in transitioning between activities, classrooms, and school environments.
• Promote student independence and reduce reliance on prompts when appropriate.
• Use positive reinforcement and other approved behavioral strategies to increase appropriate behaviors and skills.
