Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District 10J in Oregon is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with behavioral health needs under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA. The RBT will implement skills-acquisition and behavior plans developed by the IEP team, BCBA, or BCaBA, and may collect data and conduct assessments.

The position is temporary for the 2026/2027 school year, offering 6.5 hours per day across 185 days, with a salary range of $25.84 to $35.41 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hold RBT credentials.
• Experience with crisis intervention.
• Experience implementing positive behavior supports.
• Experience with collaborative problem solving preferred.
• Experience with functional behavior analysis.
• Must have basic typing/keyboard skills.
• Ability to communicate with staff and families.
• Flexibility and cooperativeness.
• Ability to respond to aggressive behavior.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks assigned by BCBA/BCaBA.
• Assist classroom teacher and implement lesson plans.
• Develop students' daily living and behavioral skills.
• Provide instructional practice to individuals and groups.
• Attend team meetings and data reviews.
• Adapt instruction to meet objectives.
• Implement behavioral strategies as directed.
• Maintain student files and data.
• Participate in supervision and reporting tasks.
