VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a school-based position in Leonardtown, Maryland. This role supports students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and emphasizes pediatric and educational therapy within the school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy treatments and interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist students with gross motor skill development, mobility, balance, and spatial awareness within the school environment.
• Implement treatment plans and assist with accommodations as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with supervising PTs, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student functional mobility and safety.
• Maintain clear, compliant documentation of treatment sessions and track student progress in accordance with district guidelines.
