Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based role in Leonardtown, MD, for the 2026-2027 school year. This local contract offers 37.5 hours per week, a 44-week duration, and pay between $42.00 and $50.51 per hour.

Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required, with willingness to obtain state licensure. New grads are welcome, and both local and travel candidates are considered.

Qualifications

• Valid PT license; be willing to obtain state licensure.
• 2 years of PT experience preferred but not required (new grads welcome).
• Experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K through 12) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in an educational environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assess and treat students with gross motor, mobility, and related concerns; ensure safe interventions.
• Support student progress and promote inclusive education through dedicated therapy services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and healthcare standards.
