Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for the 2026-2027 school year in Logan, WV. This part-time role (2.5 days/week) offers pay up to $28.00 per hour in a school setting.

Responsibilities include direct PTA services under a licensed PT, supporting gross motor and mobility within the school, implementing IEP-based plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers, PTs, and parents. WV PTA license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia PTA license required.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy treatments and interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist students with gross motor skill development, mobility, balance, and spatial awareness within the school environment.
• Implement treatment plans and assist with accommodations as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with supervising PTs, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student functional mobility and safety.
• Maintain clear, compliant documentation of treatment sessions and track student progress in accordance with district guidelines.
