VyTalent Solutions seeks a local contract Physical Therapy Assistant for the Leonardtown, Maryland area to support PTA services in a school setting for the 2026-2027 year. Start date 09/13/2026, 39 weeks, 35 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.

Eligible candidates must hold an MD PTA license and have school-based or pediatric experience preferred; new grads welcome. Local and traveler-friendly options available with a focus on student mobility and IEP-driven care.

Qualifications

• Requires valid MD PTA license.
• Local to Leonardtown or nearby for on-site duties.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct PTA services to students under licensed PT supervision.
• Assist students with gross motor skills, mobility, balance, and spatial awareness in school setting.
• Implement treatment plans and accommodations per IEPs.
• Collaborate with PTs, teachers, paraprofessionals and parents to support functional mobility and safety.
• Maintain compliant documentation and track progress per district guidelines.
