Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a local contract School Physical Therapist for a Westland, Michigan assignment. The PT will work in a school setting, collaborating with faculty to implement therapy plans and support student participation in education.

This is a local contract with 40 hours per week, dayshift, ASAP start, and a 13-week duration. Responsibilities include interpreting orders, assessing student needs, documenting IEP/Medicaid forms, and maintaining progress notes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy workflows and IDEA/IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and ensure appropriate therapy in the school setting.
• Assess gross motor skills and equipment needs for students.
• Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans per physician orders and student assessments.
• Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports.
• Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per standards.
• Train paraprofessionals on student plans.
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
