Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a School-Based Physical Therapist for a local contract in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This 13-week assignment provides 20 hours per week with 4-hour shifts, and starts ASAP in a partnering school district.

You will develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results, evaluate students for therapy eligibility, and collect data while coordinating with the school team and guardians. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Missouri Physical Therapist License required.
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting preferred but not required.
• BLS certification is common in healthcare settings and may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results.
• Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services.
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals.
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians.
