Qualifications

• Master's degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention, and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with School Based Services team assisting in outreach to at-risk students and families, increasing awareness of OKDHS and community resources.
• Assist field staff with collaborative initiatives to strengthen well‑being and educational outcomes of children and youth through targeted school based prevention services.
• Gather staff input at all levels, including external stakeholders.
• Distribute information gathered during reviews back to teams in a uniform manner and work with district offices to develop improvement plans.
• Mentor staff to increase skill level of staff and management for better outcomes for children and families.
• Preference may be given to applicants who have at least two years of School Based Program experience.
