Job Description

Position Overview
We’re seeking a talented, part-time Physical Therapist to join our school-based services team in Baltimore, MD for the Extended School Year (Summer).

Professional License Requirements:
Applicants must have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these will not be considered.

  • Hold a master’s degree or doctorate from an accredited university
  • Have active state licensure as a Physical Therapist

Role Expectations:
Experience working in schools or with children is a plus but not required.

  • Evaluate and treat students, helping them navigate the school environment, improve performance, and engage with peers
  • Participate as a member of the IEP team for students with physical therapy needs
  • Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and administrators
  • Develop and facilitate goals per the child's educational plan
  • Assist children with mobility and gross/sensory motor development
  • Conduct family training sessions if needed
  • Perform other PT duties within scope of licensure and program needs
  • Ensure all services comply with state laws and regulations
