Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a part-time (.4 FTE) school-based Physical Therapist to serve students district-wide in the Des Plaines, IL area. The role includes evaluating and treating students per IEP goals, with a focus on gross motor development and mobility.

You’ll work 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., in a district-wide setting, collaborating with IEP teams and stakeholders, and benefiting from a strong mentorship program and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois.
• State licensure is required; assistance is provided to obtain licensure as needed.

POSITION DETAILS

• Position: .4 FTE Physical Therapist
• Location: District-wide (one to two schools), Des Plaines, IL area
• Caseload: 10-15 students
• Hours: 7:20 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.

• Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders, including student IEP teams
• Develop and implement therapy plans

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPIST

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Appropriate Illinois Physical Therapy licensure

You will provide high-quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans. Conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports, you determine their strengths and areas of concern in gross motor skills, mobility, positioning needs, and other areas.
