Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time, school-based contract near Olympia, WA for the 2026-2027 year. The role focuses on supporting student mobility and growth in-person with a caseload of 35-40 students.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and Washington licensure or eligibility, plus strong collaboration with teachers, staff and families. Preference for pediatric/school experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Commitment to in-person services (no remote or hybrid options available).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine their functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services for a caseload of 35-40 students, adapting techniques to each student’s unique needs and goals.
• Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and parents to support students' integrate into classroom and school activities.
• Document all services, progress and evaluations in accordance with school and state regulations.
• Support IEP meeting participation and development as a therapy team member.
• Offer guidance and resources to teachers and staff on strategies to encourage student participation and mobility.

Position Details:

• Part-time: 7.5 hours per week, fitting well into an existing schedule or other part-time roles.
• Academic year calendar aligns with school holidays and breaks.
