Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking Physical Therapists to provide therapy services for several Charter schools in and around Miami, FL. We offer flexible, independent contracting roles with on-site and off-site mentorship and extensive resources.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Screen, assess, and evaluate students using appropriate tests and assessment instruments.
• Plan and provide appropriate physical therapy techniques through individual and/or group sessions aligned with IEP goals.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to develop IEPs.
• Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and implement classroom-based activities.
• Collaborate with parents in the physical therapy program of their child.
• Maintain documentation for equipment and materials in accordance with federal and state laws, rules, and school policy.
• Meet the needs of all students effectively by working with other disciplines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research and practices in physical therapy.

Education
