Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Massachusetts license in Physical Therapy required.
• Doctorate degree not equivalent to a PhD acceptable.
• Master’s Degree with advanced credentials is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate: access students referred for evaluation using appropriate testing instruments.
• Write reports reflecting results of standardized tests and observations with clear recommendations.
• Evaluations performed within timelines established by state and federal regulations.
• Provide therapy and consultation services to students based on individual needs and in line with IEP/504 plans.
• Provide services in the least restrictive setting.
• Participate in pre-referral, Team Meeting and Student Support Team activities; provide professional development.
• Consult with other related services providers, teachers and parents for effective services.
