Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a school-based, consultative contract role near Margate City, NJ. You will provide monthly visits during the academic year (Sept 2 – June 16) to guide student mobility and participation, with flexibility to balance personal and professional commitments.

You’ll collaborate with educators and families, document outcomes, and offer recommendations for adaptive equipment while contributing to student wellness and educational success.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience providing PT in a school or pediatric setting.
• Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and school-based practices.
• Strong communication with educators, families, and team members.
• Ability to write clear, actionable consult notes and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consult visits once a month to assess student needs and progress.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to suggest strategies for student mobility and participation in the classroom.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications when needed.
• Serve as a trusted resource on best practices in pediatric and school-based therapy.
• Document consult outcomes and provide written reports outlining goals and interventions.
