Job summary

Elmira City School District in Elmira, NY seeks a School-Based Physical Therapist (Pediatric) to evaluate students, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy within a collaborative school setting.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to support physical development, participate in education, and provide age-appropriate care. A 10-month or 12-month schedule is available with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in NY State per NY licensure requirements.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and report to Clinical Coordinator of Rehab Services.
• Develop and implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional training.
• Provide direction to rehab support staff and maintain documentation.
