Your Talent Team is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist (Pediatric) for Elmira City School District. You will evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver pediatric PT in a school setting with a stable schedule, supporting students daily.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and report to the Clinical Coordinator of Rehab Services. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and ongoing professional development within a supportive district

Qualifications

• Licensed (or eligible) NYS Physical Therapist
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Hospital or acute care experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Evaluate students and create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver PT interventions based on pediatric best practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; report to the Clinical Coordinator.
• Review referrals and assess students’ physical needs.
• Implement treatment plans: exercise, gait training, modalities, functional training.
• Teach mobility aids, braces, prosthetics, adaptive equipment.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and provide staff guidance.

Formation

Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State

BLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
