Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based physical therapy services to students under general supervision. You will assess, plan, implement, and document therapy, and collaborate with school teams to support educational goals.

Responsibilities include development of IEPs/504 plans, family communication, and ensuring compliance with FERPA and district policies. A master’s degree in physical therapy and NC licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy required.
• Current North Carolina PT licensure.
• Two years pediatric school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Maintain records and documentation compliant with FERPA, policy, and state/federal laws.
• Collaborate with school teams, parents, and outside agencies to coordinate services.
