Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is hiring a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist (OT) for a K-5 school in Central Falls, RI. This school-based role offers 37.5 hours per week with guaranteed hours and direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP support within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include assessments, progress evaluations, and collaboration with teachers, families, and district staff. Licensure as an OT, NBCOT, and state DOE licensing are required; strong sensory integration skills are

Qualifications

• OT/OTD degree from an accredited university.
• State License as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification.
• DOE licensing as required by state.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong sensory integration foundation and ability to assess dysfunction.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students, conduct assessments and develop IEPs.
• Direct therapy, consultations, evaluations, and case management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators, and parents.
• Maintain documentation and planning time within a manageable caseload.
• On-site, in-person service delivery at the Central Falls, RI school.
