Job summary

Family of Kidz on Long Island is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support school district placements across the region. You will design and implement therapeutic interventions for children on your caseload and document evaluations.

The role offers full-time or fee-for-service options with Monday–Friday hours coordinated to the school calendar. Pay ranges from $60 to $120 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
