Job summary

Family ofKidz is seeking an Occupational Therapist for school district placements across Long Island, NY. Roles include full-time or fee-for-service with a $60-$120/hour range and a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days for active cases.

Schedule follows the school calendar, Monday–Friday with flexible options. Benefits include PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, life insurance, EAP, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
