Job summary

Global Psychological is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Detroit, MI team. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to design and implement student-centered sessions, support motor and sensory development, and help create optimal classroom environments.

You will assist with assessments, progress data, and IEP-related activities, contributing to inclusive education and student success in a collaborative, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA certification from an accredited program.
• Current state license or eligibility to practice as an OTA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized sessions.
• Support motor development, sensory integration, and functional abilities in school settings.
• Adapt classroom environment and activities to promote participation.
• Assist with assessments and screening to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Collect data for progress monitoring.
• Assist in IEP preparation and participate in meetings.
