Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs.

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students.
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development, accommodations, and progress monitoring.
• Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records in accordance with district and state requirements.

Description

Looking for a role where your expertise helps students build independence and succeed in school? We're seeking a dedicated, Full-Time (35 hours/week), In-person Occupational Therapist (OT) for the upcoming school year in Lansing, MI. In this role, you'll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including another Occupational Therapist already on site, to support students' motor, sensory, and functional needs. You'll play a vital role in helping students access their educational environment and develop the skills needed for success both in and out of the classroom.
