Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a contract position serving kindergartners through 8th grade near Middletown. You will assess students, develop tailored intervention plans, and deliver direct or consultative OT services to support participation in school routines and learning.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, maintain progress notes and reports, and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in Ohio
• Experience with school-aged children and individualized therapy strategies
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Capable of managing a caseload and detailed documentation
• Strong communication and adaptability for student independence

Responsibilities

• Assess students' functional ability and develop tailored intervention plans
• Provide direct and consultative OT services individually or in groups
• Support student engagement in routines, academics, and self-care activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize learning
• Maintain records, progress notes, and timely assessments/reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student achievement goals
