Job summary

EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DIST 112 is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 Therapeutic Programs in Vancouver, WA. The position is 0.54 FTE (100-day contract) with a salary range provided below.

The OT will develop and coordinate therapy services for children with disabilities, liaising with families and the education team to support IEP/IFSP goals and ensure strong educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a special education public school setting or with pediatric populations.
• Experience interpreting state and federal special education law.
• Willingness to travel within the ESA service area.
• Physical ability to transfer and/or lift children and equipment.
• Criminal history and fingerprint check clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate an occupational therapy program for children with disabilities.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to align IEP/IFSP goals.
• Liaise with medical and community service providers for the children.
• Supervise and train OT assistants and support staff.
• Assist in procurement and use of adaptive equipment/assistive technology.
