Pillar High School in Livingston, NJ, part of Pillar Care Continuum, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative team dedicated to students with disabilities. The role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality therapy programs and assisting with assistive technology.

Qualified applicants hold a master’s degree in OT, NBCOT certification, NJ licensure, and NJ DoE OT certification. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an AOTA-accredited OT program.
• NBCOT Certification completed and current.
• Registered Occupational Therapist with AOTA.
• State of New Jersey license to practice OT.
• NJ Department of Education Certification as OT (Required).

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors high-quality therapy programs for individual and group sessions.
• Fabricates or adjusts therapeutic equipment and suggests assistive technology as needed.
• Develops IEP goals and completes daily notes.
• Works collaboratively with professional staff in a team-based environment.
• Provides supervision and guidance to classroom aides and nurses.
• Collaborates with families to support student progress.
