Qualifications

• Master's Degree and graduation from an AOTA accredited occupational therapy program.
• Successful completion of NBCOT Certification Examination.
• Registration by AOTA as Occupational Therapist.
• State of New Jersey license.
• NJ Department of Education Certification as an Occupational Therapist (Required).

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors high-quality therapy programs for individual and group therapy sessions.
• Designs, fabricates, adjusts, or makes minor repairs to therapeutic equipment for individual students; suggests and monitors the provision of appropriate assistive technology.
• Develops educationally relevant IEP goals and objectives; completes daily notes
• Works collaboratively with professional staff using a team-based approach.
• Provides supervision, guidance, and assistance to classroom aides and one-to-one nurses.
• Collaborates closely with families to support the students.

Pillar High School, located in Livingston, NJ, is an approved private school for students with disabilities serving Pillar High School. Pillar High School is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in a supportive environment with a focus on teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
