The ideal candidate has a Master’s in OT and an active Washington license (or eligibility), along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active Washington State OT license or eligibility to obtain one.
• ESA certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Background checks and fingerprinting are required.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare reports.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams.
• Monitor student progress and maintain timely documentation.
• Recommend strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support participation.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and other service providers.
