Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based role in Scotch Plains, NJ. The position serves PreK-8 students with a focus on direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP development.

The OT will collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents, providing assessments, planning, and case management while delivering care within a supportive district framework.

Qualifications

• BS, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• State License as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification/licensing.
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required.
• Experience working with children.
• Strong background in Sensory Integration.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in use of technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion in communications.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy and consultation for PreK-8 students.
• Develop and monitor IEPs, conduct assessments and progress evaluations.
