Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Corrales, NM is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role supports students with developmental, physical, and sensory needs within a collaborative special education team.

You will evaluate students, develop IEPs, implement therapy plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and document progress. A Master's in OT and NM licensure (or eligibility) are required; pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active New Mexico OT license (or ability to obtain).
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• A student-centered approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of developmental, physical, and sensory needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Implement treatment plans focused on student-specific goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
