Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our full-time school-based team in Dallas, OR. You will help students develop functional, sensory, and motor skills for classroom success and beyond.

As part of a collaborative educational team, you will work with teachers, families, and other specialists to support diverse learner needs and help students reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success
