Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services in a public school setting. The role focuses on supporting students in special education to achieve IEP goals through physical, sensory, and self-care development.

The position involves collaborating with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team, delivering sessions in various models, and maintaining progress documentation. Licensure and NBCOT are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT national certification.
• Valid state OT license.
• Experience in pediatrics and school-based settings preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, therapists, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver therapy sessions through individual, group, or consultative models based on IEP requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support student independence and participation in the academic environment.
