Job summary

Albuquerque School of Excellence is seeking an Occupational Therapist for both ASE East and West Campuses. This position involves leading the development and coordination of the occupational therapy program for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include evaluating students, collaborating with educational staff, developing individualized programming, and supporting the school's mission. Candidates must possess a relevant bachelor's degree, state certification, and experience in a pediatric setting. The hired therapist will be compensated according to licensure and experience.

Qualifications

• State Certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the occupational therapy program.
• Screens and evaluates students with disabilities.
• Collaborates with staff to understand student needs.
• Creates and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Documents therapy services and maintains records.
