Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support PreK-8th grade students in a New Orleans area school. This full-time onsite role partners with a Physical Therapist, Adapted Physical Education specialist, and a COTA to provide holistic care.

You will deliver OT services aligned with IEPs, evaluate student needs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff. The position follows the academic calendar August through May with a daytime schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Louisiana
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Able to manage PreK-8th caseload
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Comfort working in a team and independently

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services aligned with students' IEPs
• Evaluate student needs and create tailored treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote progress
• Document services according to school and state guidelines
• Consult with PT, APE, and COTA colleagues to coordinate care
• Participate in school meetings and student support initiatives
