Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver social-emotional services and occupational therapy to students requiring additional support.

You will collaborate with school staff and families, assess needs, and implement therapy strategies within the educational program. The role offers a competitive salary in the $95k–$100k range with comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• NBCOT licensure required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a school, special education, or behavioral health setting working with children/adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each new student and evaluate OT needs.
• Monitor therapy programs and advise on inclusion in the educational program.
• Educate teachers and parents on therapy techniques to implement at classroom/home.
• Consult on IEPs and document students’ needs and supports.
• Monitor handwriting and keyboarding curriculum and train staff/parents in applicable techniques.
• Provide group therapy interventions for K-8 classes.
• Assess and evaluate students’ needs for individual or small group OT sessions.
• Attend parent/teacher meetings for students receiving OT as needed.
