Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational therapy.
• Georgia state licensure required or eligible.
• Solid knowledge of OT theory and methods.
• Understanding of normal and abnormal child development.
• Ability to adapt or design equipment for individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver occupational therapy services.
• Evaluate student abilities across daily living, fine motor, sensory-motor, oral motor and postural skills.
• Select and administer appropriate OT assessments and provide direct or consultative services.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support student goals and services.
• Obtain, modify, and document adaptive equipment as needed.
• Instruct and support staff, parents, and students in therapy activities at school and home.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
