Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality therapy services to students across John Glenn School Corporation and LaVille Community Schools. This OT will play a crucial role in the Case Conference Committee, ensuring student needs are met with evidence-based interventions.

Qualified candidates will hold an Indiana OT License and NBCOT certification, with an emphasis on compliance with Indiana regulations. The position requires a valid driver’s license for travel between school buildings.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Indiana Occupational Therapist License.
• Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Familiarity with Indiana Article 7 and IDEA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory processing skills.
• Collaborate with the Case Conference Committee (CCC) to develop IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services in the least restrictive environment.
• Consult with teachers and parents for appropriate modifications.
• Maintain accurate logs of services and Medicaid billing.
