Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, an active Ohio OT license, and NBCOT certification or eligibility. Fingerprint clearance is required, with opportunities for professional development and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active Ohio OT license is required.
• NBCOT certification is required or eligible.
• School-based experience is preferred but not required.
• Fingerprint clearance and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional and developmental levels.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and MDTs to integrate therapy into the classroom.
• Document progress and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Support development of fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing and self-care skills.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations and parent conferences.
• Provide training to school staff to support curriculum access.
