Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a welcoming school community near Dearborn Heights, MI. This full-time contract role focuses on direct services to elementary students with a caseload of about 25, under a standard school day schedule.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess needs, develop IEP goals, and design targeted therapy plans. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active OT license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy.
• Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized therapy plans for students.
• Excellent communication with students, teachers, and families.
• Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in elementary school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students at an elementary campus.
• Conduct assessments to determine needs and develop IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy into daily routines.
• Design and implement interventions to help students participate fully in classroom activities.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed for student success.
• Maintain all required documentation accurately and promptly.
