Job summary

TactStaff EDU seeks a School-Based Occupational Therapist for an elementary school in Glen Ellyn, IL for the 2026–2027 year. You will collaborate with educators and families to support student participation, fine motor skills, handwriting, and classroom access.

You will evaluate needs, develop and implement individualized plans, document compliance, and participate in IEP meetings. Start date October 11, 2026; full-time, school-based position delivering direct student services.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active Illinois OT license with IDFPR.
• NBCOT certification or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services per students' IEPs.
• Conduct OT evaluations and re-evaluations to identify needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Support fine motor, sensory processing, handwriting, self-help, and school participation skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and MDT discussions.
• Monitor progress and provide recommendations.
