Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in Independence, MO for the 2026-2027 year. You will assess students, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers and families.

The role emphasizes clear documentation, interdisciplinary teamwork, and supervision of COTAs where applicable. OT license, background check, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• OT license required.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Experience with school-based caseload and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized assessments and determine eligibility.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with IEP goals and school objectives.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to generalize communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support COTAs and monitor supervision hours where applicable.
