Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a school-based contract near Stoughton, WI. You will provide direct and consultative OT services to students, collaborate with educators, and support IEP goals.

This role emphasizes student-centered care in a dynamic educational setting, covering evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and team participation to advocate for student needs.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in applicable state.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred.
• Background in healthcare or home health occupational therapy is a plus.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students within the school environment.
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement intervention strategies geared toward enhancing student participation and independence.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to align therapy goals with academic objectives.
• Maintain clear, timely, and accurate records in compliance with legal and district requirements.
• Participate in IEP and team meetings to deliver updates and recommendations.
• Advocate for student needs and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
